Hello, I'm Dr. Tiffany Huseman
Licensed Clinical Psychologist
I provide compassionate, evidence-based therapy to adults and adolescents navigating challenges related to their mental and medical health.
I treat Trauma, Grief, Depression, Anxiety, OCD, and family/relationship difficulties. I also support individuals living with Chronic Pain, Insomnia, and other new or ongoing medical health concerns. My work draws from a range of evidence-based approaches, including Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), CBT for Insomnia (CBT-I), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for PTSD, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Invitation to Change (ITC), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP).
As a health psychologist, I appreciate the mind-body connection. Our physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual health are all interconnected and shaping each other. As such, I take a whole-person, integrative approach to well-being. I also recognize that mental and medical health challenges often come with significant grief and loss, as we shift expectations of ourselves and our bodies.
My interests in positive psychology and medical health inform how I approach therapy — focusing on individual strengths, resilience, and quality of life. I understand that “health” and “well-being” mean something different for each person, and I look forward to exploring what that looks like for you. I also believe that humor, playfulness, and creativity are vital ways we retain joy and hope in the face of stress, hardship, and uncertainty.
At the heart of my approach is a deep acceptance of who you are, right now, in this moment. I aim to meet you with warmth, respect, authenticity, and humanity. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and I empower you to lead your own healing and growth. You are in the driver’s seat, deciding the direction and pace of our work together. It is my privilege to ride alongside you on that journey as your co-pilot.
