Hello, I'm Adriana Hausler
Licensed Clinical Social Worker
I provide individual Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to adults, teens, and children of all backgrounds. I am trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Organizational Skills Training for Children with ADHD (OST), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Trauma-Grief Component Therapy for Adolescents (TGCTA). I have experience working with individuals diagnosed with Depression, Anxiety, Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD).

I have extensive experience working in outpatient, community-based settings. Currently, I serve as a clinical staff therapist at Westchester Jewish Community Services (WJCS), providing individual and group therapy to clients in the Mt. Vernon and Hartsdale communities. In addition to my clinical work, I serve as a supervisor at Westchester Jewish Community Services (WJCS), where I support the professional development of emerging clinicians. Additionally, I created and facilitate a consultation group that provides education, supervision, and case discussion for therapists working with children and adolescents. I also work closely with parents navigating their children’s emotional and behavioral challenges. In recognition of my commitment to compassionate, high-quality care, I was honored to receive the 2025 Clinician of the Year award.

I use a Person-in-Environment perspective—meaning I look not only at the individual, but also at the context they live in, understanding these systems help shape their thoughts, behaviors, and overall well-being.

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and grounded. I believe in meeting you exactly where you are and honoring you as the expert of your own experiences. I offer honest, straightforward feedback when it supports your growth, always with compassion and respect. I take a strength-based approach because I believe people are far more than their struggles. Real change happens when we recognize and build on the resilience, skills, and inner resources you already possess.

I am committed to creating a therapeutic space where people of all backgrounds, identities, and lived experiences feel welcomed, respected, and supported. I approach each client with curiosity, humility, and a recognition that every person's story is unique.
Above all, I strive to create an open, affirming environment where every person feels seen, valued, and supported.

When I'm not working with clients, I enjoy some of my favorite forms of self-care: cooking, hiking, and going to the movies. I was a chef before pursuing my Master's in Social Work, and I still find a lot of joy in preparing meals to share with the people I love. Whether it's a great view at the end of a hiking trail or the experience of seeing a film on the big screen, I appreciate moments that help me slow down and connect.
