We start with a free 20-minute consultation call to learn about your goals and help match you with a clinician. After that, you'll complete intake paperwork through our secure patient portal, and then schedule your first session.

Does Sunrise Psychology NY accept insurance?

Accepted Answer

All staff are out-of-network (OON) providers. We do not bill insurance directly, but we provide monthly superbills so clients can seek reimbursement from their insurance. Many clients with PPO or POS plans receive partial reimbursement.

Session rates start at $225-$275 per session depending on the clinician. A limited number of sliding scale slots are available. We accept cash, check, credit card, and HSA through Simple Practice.

Yes. In addition to in-person sessions at our Hartsdale, NY office, we offer secure telehealth therapy for clients across New York State. We also have limited telehealth availability for clients in Connecticut.

Yes. We currently offer a Supportive Grief Group for adults and are enrolling for Gut Feelings, a PRT-informed group for young adults with IBD (Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis). Additional groups are in development.
